Focus and Objectives of Communication League Action Team  

Ensure the overall coordination and implementation of LWVMC different methods of communicating with its members and the community are mindful of and in keeping with the League’s goals and objectives and the principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. 

This includes: 

• Assist in preparing and editing information ensuring correct format prior to sending to the Newsletter Editors 

• Assist in preparing press releases pertaining to league events 

• Assist in the development of League flyers, brochures and other online or printed materials 

• Using social media to reach larger and different audiences 

• Routinely review League website, ensuring it is updated with current information.  

• Assist in Club Express sending eblasts, updating details of events, etc. 

• Looking to add members to the team. 

What do volunteers need to do:

• Knowledge and ability to use social media (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok) to reach larger and different audiences.  

• Skills in Photography - Take pictures at different league events

• Proofing, Editing- Assist in proofing copy before publication

• Graphic design - Ability to use Canva - Help design brochures

• Assist current CE member with eblasts, updating events

• Assist in writing letters to the editor, press releases
